What if I don’t have hot honey?

No worries! You can easily make your own hot honey by mixing ¼ cup of regular honey with a teaspoon of your favorite hot sauce or chili flakes. Adjust the spice level to your liking, or omit the heat entirely if you prefer a sweeter flavor.

How long should I marinate the Dijon Hot Honey Chicken Thighs?

You can marinate the chicken for as little as 20 minutes, while you’re getting the grill hot. You can also bring out more flavor by letting it sit in the marinade for at least 2 hours or overnight.   • .25 cup Dijon Mustard
  • .25 cup Hot Honey
  • 1 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 2 tsp Kosher Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 2 lb Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together Dijon mustard, hot honey, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken thighs to the bowl and toss until well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes, or up to overnight for more flavor.
