You’ll usually see Tempranillo labeled as “Rioja”, because that’s the best region for growing this grape. It produces wines with dark fruit and earthy flavors at great values.
Processing closes at 5 PM on weekdays, is open 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM Saturday, and is closed on Sundays.
LGCM / Recipes / Pork Recipes / Slow Cooker Balsamic Pork Roast
This recipe comes to us via our Pinterest Slow Cooker Recipe Contest winner Cyndi! We love this Pork Shoulder recipe because it goes beyond the usual “Pork Shoulder + BBQ Sauce” recipe and employed a mildly spicy rub with a Balsamic Sauce. We really enjoyed the flavor of the sauce when combined with the darker meat of the Pork Shoulder. Give it a try at home for yourself and let us know what you think!
Combine all spices in a small bowl and rub pork shoulder roast on all sides with the spice combination. Place the roast in your slow cooker.
Combine the chicken broth, vinegar, honey and Worcestershire sauce and pour over roast.
Cook in your slow cooker for 4 hours on high or 8 hours on low until the pork roast is tender and easily shreddable by fork.
Once pork is done cooking, remove the roast from your slow cooker, cut the netting off and shred with two forks. Place shredded pork back in slow cooker and combine with sauce.
Serve over rice or potatoes and enjoy!

You wait all year for this style that’s a blend of rich malt flavors and hints of hop bitterness.
