If you like Buffalo Wings, you’ll love these Buffalo Back Ribs! This recipe from the Pork Council takes all the flavor of your favorite hot sauce and bakes it on to delicious Baby Back Ribs. Cut the slabs of ribs into single rib portions and serve with your favorite dipping sauces for a fun party snack. What’s your favorite hot sauce? The Pork Council recommends using Frank’s Red Hot Sauce, but you can use your own favorite to make the recipe hotter or milder. Let us know in the comments below!

Ingredients

  • 2 slab(s) LGCM Baby Back Ribs
  • 3 cup(s) Hot Sauce (such as Frank’s or Tobasco)
  • .75 cup(s) Butter
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Directions

  1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the hot sauce a butter. Bring the mixture to a boil and whisk the mixture until it’s smooth.

  2. Once the sauce is smooth, brush the ribs with sauce, season with salt and pepper and then set the rest of the sauce aside.

  3. Heat your smoker or grill to 225ºF and set up for indirect cooking. Place a drip pan filled with water in the smoker to help retain moisture in the ribs and add smoke if desired.

  4. Place the ribs on the grill and cook for approximately 4 hours. Brush the ribs with more sauce every hour. The ribs are done when the meat easily pulls off the bone – about 190ºF internal temperature.

  5. Once done, remove the ribs from heat, let rest and slice into individual rib portions. Serve with dipping sauces, celery sticks and cold beer! Enjoy!
