This recipe is maybe the easiest way we know to make chili at home. Just brown ground beef (or another ground meat), dump in a jar of Carfagana’s Chili Mix, and serve! You’ll love how fast this preparation method is, and you can customize this recipe to your own taste as you like. The base recipe is a mild chili, so if you like a spicy chili, we recommend adding chili seasonings such as chili powder, cayenne pepper, and cumin to the mix to your taste. You can also spice up the recipe by using chorizo sausage instead of ground beef. It’s an easy way to add more punch! What are your tweaks to this recipe? Let us know in the comments!
Add the ground beef to a large pot and cook over medium high heat, breaking up into crumbles. Season with the salt, pepper, garlic powder, and chili powder while cooking. You can add more or less seasoning to your taste. Cook until browned. Remove from heat, and drain grease.
After draining grease, pour in the Carfagna’s Chili Mix. Mix to combine, and bring to a boil. Once the mixture is boiling, reduce heat, and let simmer until warm throughout. Taste the chili, and, if desired, add additional seasonings such as more chili powder, cayenne pepper, and cumin.
Serve once warm with your favorite toppings such as shredded cheese, green onions, and more. Enjoy!
