Chicken wings are the perfect food to enjoy while watching your favorite sports team but it can get expensive to chow down on them at a bar. Fear not! You can make bar style fried chicken wings at home, without a deep fryer, using this easy recipe. All you need are chicken wings, flour, salt, pepper, oil and your favorite seasoning sauce. The recipe uses Buffalo Hot Sauce but you can get creative and try other sauces! Instead of Buffalo sauce, try tossing your wings in an Asian inspired sauce like Sriracha or Hoisin or your favorite BBQ sauce. Do you have a great wing sauce recipe? We’d love to hear it, just share in the comments below!
Pour enough vegetable oil into a large pot so that there is 1.5″ of oil in the pot. Heat to 350ºF.
While the oil is heating, rinse the chicken wings and then pat them dry. Once dry, dredge in flour and then season on all sides with salt and pepper.
Once the oil is heated to 350º, add chicken wings and cook until the wings reach a temperature of 165ºF, approximately 10 minutes. Do not add too many wings to the oil at once, the wings should have room in the pot.
When the wings have reached 165ºF, remove from the oil and place on a plate lined with paper towels to remove excess oil. After letting the excess oil drain, place the wings to a large bowl, pour Buffalo Wing Sauce to your sauce and toss the wings in the sauce until they are evenly coated.
Serve with your favorite dipping sauces and enjoy!

You’ll usually see Tempranillo labeled as “Rioja”, because that’s the best region for growing this grape. It produces wines with dark fruit and earthy flavors at great values.
