Here’s a quick and easy way to make an Italian Sausage Pizza at home. Try making this recipe with your kids, we bet they’ll have a blast making the pizza. Using fresh ingredients from LGCM is more affordable, fun, and delicious than getting delivery from a chain! Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 package Golden Home Pizza Crust
  • 16 oz Pizza Sauce
  • 1 lb LGCM Bulk Italian Sausage
  • 20 slice Shullsburg Mozzarella Cheese

Directions

  1. Break apart the Bulk Italian Sausage into small clumps.
  2. Heat a pan to a medium high heat, and add the Italian Sausage.
  3. Cook the sausage all the way through (make sure it is thoroughly browned.) Once cooked, place the crumbles on a paper towel to remove excess grease, and set aside.
  4. Place the pizza crust on a sheet pan, and top with the pizza sauce, followed by the cooked Italian Sausage, and finally the Mozzarella cheese slices. You can add other toppings as desired!
  5. Heat your oven to 350F, and place the pizza in the oven for 10-15 minutes, or until baked to your preferred level of crispiness.
  6. Remove pizza from the oven, let stand for 5 minutes, slice, and enjoy.
