We love Chili. It’s delicious and is the perfect winter time meal to warm you up when a Polar Vortex is bearing down on you. Follow this recipe, enjoy a hearty bowl of chili and stay warm!


  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 24 oz Water
  • 1 Yellow Onion (diced)
  • 1 Green Pepper (diced)
  • 1 Jalapeño Pepper (diced)
  • 1 oz Kidney Beans (can(s))
  • 1 oz Tomatoes (can)
  • 1 oz Tomato Sauce (diced)
  • 1 tsp Garlic (can(s))
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • .25 tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 Tbsp Cumin
  • 1 Tbsp Chili Powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper


  1. In a medium pot, add the ground beef and brown.  Once completely browned drain fat from pan.

  2. To the ground beef add: garlic, oregano, cayenne pepper, cumin, chili powder, salt & pepper and mix. (Note—these are all included in seasoning packet if purchased.)

  3. Add kidney beans, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, yellow onion, green pepper & jalapeno and mix all together.

  4. Once all the ingredients are added cover and bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer and let it cook for about 2-3 hours.

  5. Top with  sour cream, shredded cheddar & Fritos and enjoy!
