Make perfectly seasoned tacos every time by using the Reichert Taco Mix available at Lake Geneva Country Meats. Combine the seasoning mix with ground beef and water and you’ll have flavorful tacos without having to guess at what seasonings to use. We’re using ground beef in this recipe, but you can substitute ground turkey, chicken, pork, or even venison to your taste. Do you have a favorite taco topping or seasoning tip? Ingredients
- 2 lb Leahy’s Angus Ground Beef
- 1 package Reichert Taco Mix (or your favorite taco mix)
- 1 cup Water
- Tortillas (or taco shells)
- Taco Toppings
Directions
In a large skillet, add the ground beef, seasoning and water. Mix together well and let sit for 20 minutes.
Cover the mixture and put over medium high heat. Bring the mixture to a boil and then reduce heat to a simmer.
Let simmer for 20 minutes, frequently stirring the mixture until the ground beef is cooked.
Drain and serve with your favorite taco toppings. Enjoy!
