Use 1 shrimp for a filet sized steak, 2 shrimp for a New York Strip or Ribeye, and more for larger steaks like Sirloins and Flanks.

Ingredients

  • 8 Shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 2 clove Garlic (minced)
  • 1 Shallot (minced)
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 cup White Wine (dry wine like a Chardonnay or Pinot Grigio)
  • 2 Tbsp Butter
  • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Directions

  1. Heat olive oil and butter in a large saute pan until butter is melted. Add wine, garlic and shallot and cook over medium heat until the garlic and shallot turn clear.
  2. Stir in heavy cream and add in shrimp.
  3. Cook for 3 minutes and then flip shrimp. Continue cooking until shrimp are done (they will turn pink.)
