Shipping Overview

Lake Geneva Country Meats ships select products to customers in the continental United States (lower 48 states). We do not currently ship to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international destinations.

What We Ship

Products available for online ordering and shipping:

       Apparel and branded merchandise (fulfilled by Printful)

       Gift certificates (mailed via USPS)

       Jerky, snack sticks, and shelf-stable products (shipped by us)

       Seasonings and rubs (shipped by us)

 

Products available for custom shipping (by quote only):

       Fresh and frozen meats, including brats, steaks, and specialty cuts

       These orders are handled personally by phone or email — not through online checkout

 

Products available for local pickup only:

       Meat bundles and bulk orders

       Custom processing orders

       Any in-store product not listed for shipping above

Apparel and Merchandise

Apparel and branded merchandise are printed and shipped by our fulfillment partner, Printful. Orders typically ship within 3–7 business days of placement. You’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once your order ships.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the items ordered and your delivery address.

Gift Certificates

Gift certificates are mailed via USPS and typically arrive within 5–7 business days. We can mail gift certificates directly to the recipient if you’re sending a gift.

Jerky, Seasonings & Shelf-Stable Products

These items are packed and shipped by us via USPS or UPS. Orders are typically shipped within 2–3 business days. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.

Fresh & Frozen Meat Shipping (By Quote)

Shipping fresh and frozen meat requires special handling, and we don’t process these orders through online checkout. Here’s how it works:

       Contact us by phone at (262) 248-3339 or email at frontoffice@lakegenevacountrymeats.com with what you’d like to ship and where it’s going.

       We’ll email you a quote based on the products and destination.

       Once you approve, we pack your order in an insulated cooler with a protective outer box.

       We ship Monday through Wednesday only, using overnight or next-day ground service.

       You’ll receive tracking information with every shipment.

 

Meat shipping costs typically run $80–$100+ depending on the size of the order and the destination. We know that’s not cheap, and that’s exactly why we walk you through the quote before you commit. No surprises.

We only use overnight or next-day ground shipping for perishable items. We will not ship fresh or frozen meat via slower methods — the risk of spoilage is too high, and we won’t gamble with your food.

Order Tracking

Tracking information is provided for all shipped orders. You’ll receive an email with your tracking number once your order has shipped. For meat shipments handled by phone or email, tracking is sent directly to you.

Delivery Issues

If your order arrives damaged, spoiled, or is missing items, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery. We’ll work with you to make it right — whether that’s a replacement shipment or a refund.

We are not responsible for delays caused by weather, carrier issues, or incorrect shipping addresses provided at the time of order. If a perishable shipment is delayed by the carrier and arrives spoiled, contact us and we’ll handle it.

Local Pickup

Many of our products are available for in-store pickup at our location in Lake Geneva, WI. You can place a pickup order through our website or by calling us at (262) 248-3339. There is no shipping charge for pickup orders.
