Do you want to know where your Pork Chops, Baby Back Ribs, Hams, Bacons, and more come from on a pig? Come to Lake Geneva Country Meats’ “Know Your Pork” Tour and you can learn more about how your favorite cut of pork gets to be on your plate. After the success of our first tour last year, we are offering another round of tours in conjunction with our annual Winter Pork Sale. During this approximately 30 minute tour, our Master Meat Crafter Jeff Schmalfeldt will show you how a pig is cut into individual cuts of meat, talk about the meat production process at LGCM, and show you our sausage making kitchen and smokehouses.
Tickets are free and two tour times are being offered at 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Space is limited to 20 people per tour, so we are requiring advance reservations to come to the event.
