Leahy’s Angus Beef steaks have great flavor even without seasoning, but sometimes it’s nice to dress up your steak with a topping. Here’s a Bleu Cheese Crust that you can add on top of your steak to help bring out the rich beef flavor of your steaks and really impress your guests with your culinary prowess! - .5 cup Panko Bread Crumbs
- .5 cup Bleu Cheese
- 2 Tbsp Kickin’ Good Mustard
- 1 Tbsp Butter
- .5 tsp Garlic Salt
- Kosher Salt
- Pepper (ground)
Grill your steak to your preferred temperature.
Move your steaks from the direct heat to the lower setting on your grill.
While your steak is grilling you can prepare your topping.
Mix together in a microwave safe bowl: bread crumbs, butter, garlic salt and season with salt & pepper.
Place in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds, until butter is melted.
With a fork, break the bleu cheese into the bread crumb mixture and add parsley. Set off to the side.
Place the mustard on your steak and finish with a healthy spoonful of steak topping.
Close the lid of your grill and let it melt and brown; about 5-6 minutes
