We are thrilled to announce that we have won 22 medals and a Cup of Honor in the 2019 DFV-AAMP IFFA Quality Competition for Sausage & Ham! This international competition is the most prestigious competition of its kind. In this competition, butchers from all over the world submit their products for evaluation by the expert judges of the DFV – the German Butchers’ Association. Lake Geneva Country Meats entered 22 products in competition, and every product entered won a medal. Here is the list of award winning products:

In addition to the 22 medals, Lake Geneva Country Meats was awarded a Cup of Honor for special achievement in the competition, reflecting the overall excellence of the products entered. By overall medal awards, Lake Geneva Country Meats was placed in the top 10 of American butcher shops. Owners Scott and Kathy said:

This is the second time the judging has been held in Madison, Wisconsin, and open to American entrants. Lake Geneva Country Meats has participated in both competitions. In the 2016 competition, we won 11 medals, as well as the Cup of Honor.
