Asian Flank Steak Skewers Recipe

Enjoy a quick and easy dinner with our Asian Flank Steak Skewer recipe. This recipe combines two Asian sauces on strips of richly flavored flank steak, skewers the steak strips and grills them. Once grilled, the steak is absolutely delicious and easy to eat off the skewers at a party, or to cut into pieces and enjoy on your plate. We like to serve these skewers with an Asian Broccoli Slaw and steamed rice. It’s a fresh and tasty summertime meal. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb(s) Leahy’s Angus Beef Flank Steak (sliced into 1″ strips)
  • 2 Green Onion (chopped)
  • 1 clove(s) Garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup(s) Soy Sauce
  • .5 cup(s) Hoisin Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Brown Sugar
  • Sesame Seeds
  • Bamboo Skewers (soaked in water)

Directions

  1. Combine half of the chopped green onions, the minced garlic, soy sauce, hoisin sauce and brown sugar in a medium sized bowl and mix until combined.
  2. Place each strip of flank steak in the marinade and cover all sides of the meat with the marinade. Thread each strip of marinated meat onto its own bamboo skewer.
  3. Heat your grill to medium heat (350ºF) and place the skewers directly over the heat. Grill for about 3-4 minutes per side until the flank steak reaches 135ºF for medium rare. Once the steak reaches 135º, remove from heat and let sit for five minutes before serving.
  4. Serve with steamed rice, Asian inspired slaw or your other favorite Asian dishes and enjoy!
