When I envisioned this beer grilled pork chops recipe, I was thinking of a summer day out by the grill. I imagined smelling flavorful pork chops grilling while I was sipping on a beer and enjoying the summer breeze. - Prep Time
- 15 minutes
- Servings
- 4 pork chops
Ingredients
- 4 LGCM Bone In Pork Chops (cut at 1″ thick)
- 1 can Beer (see notes above for beer suggestions)
- 1/4 cup Lemon Juice (about one lemon’s worth of juice)
- 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 Tbsp Kosher Salt
- 1 tsp Dried Rosemary (chopped)
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Black Pepper
Directions
- Add all the ingredients (except the pork chops) in a small bowl and whisk together to combine. Put the pork chops in a large, sealable plastic bag, and pour the marinade into the meat. Work the marinade into the meat so it’s evenly coated. Let the chops sit in the refrigerator for 1 – 24 hours.
- Once the pork chops are done marinating, heat your grill to medium high heat. Remove the pork chops from the marinade, and pat dry to remove excess moisture. Discard the extra marinade. Once the grill is hot, place the pork chops directly over the heat and grill for approximately 4-5 minutes per side, flipping only once, until the pork chops reach 145ºF.
- Once the beer grilled pork chops are done cooking, remove them from the grill, and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving. Serve the pork chops with fresh, seasonal produce and, of course, the beer you used to make the marinade. Enjoy!
