4 fried steaks

Ingredients

  • 4 Leahy’s Angus Beef Cube Steaks
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 3 Egg (beaten)
  • 2 cup Chicken Broth
  • 1 cup Milk (whole)
  • .25 cup Vegetable Oil
  • 2 tsp Thyme
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper

Directions

  1. Bread your cube steaks by dredging them in flour, coating them with the beaten eggs and then dredging them in the flour again.
  2. Pour the vegetable oil into a large frying pan, and heat over medium-high heat.
  3. Once the oil is heated, add the meat and cook on both sides until browned, about 4 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, add the Chicken Broth and Whole Milk and whisk until the gravy begins to thicken. Continue to simmer until the mixture reaches the consistency of gravy. If necessary stir in 1 tsp. corn starch to thicken the mixture.
