Ingredients
- 1 LGCM Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast
- 3 Bell Pepper (sliced)
- 1 Yellow Onion (pick your favorite colors!)
- 1 jar(s) Marinara Sauce (sliced)
- 1 cup(s) Bread Crumbs (24 oz)
- 1 cup(s) Red Wine
- 1 Tbsp Garlic Powder (dry)
- Salt (preferably Italian!)
- Pepper
Directions
- Layer half the pepper and onion strips on the bottom of the slow cooker. Place the chicken on top and season with garlic powder, salt and pepper. Add remaining peppers and onions and then pour in red wine and marinara sauce. Cover and cook on high for 4 hours.
- Once done cooking, shred the chicken breast in the sauce. Once the chicken is shredded add in bread crumbs to the slow cooker (omit for a thinner sauce.) Stir together the contents of the slow cooker until the bread crumbs are absorbed by the sauce.
- Serve the Italian Chicken and Peppers over freshly made pasta. Top with grated Parmesan and Italian seasoning. Enjoy!
