Ingredients
2 lb Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs
- 1 jar Marinara Sauce (24 oz. size)
- 1 Red Bell Pepper (chopped)
- 1 Yellow Onion (chopped)
1.5 cup Orzo
1 cup Chicken Broth
Directions
Add chicken thighs, marinara sauce, pepper and onion to the slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours.
Remove the chicken thighs from the slow cooker and set aside. Add chicken broth and orzo. Stir mixture. Add chicken thighs back in. Cook for another 30 – 45 minutes until the orzo is cooked. Add more chicken broth if necessary to cook orzo.
Once orzo is done cooking, remove mixture from slow cooker and serve. Garnish with fresh basil and grated parmesan cheese if desired!
