Ingredients
- 2 slab(s) Baby Back Ribs (cut in half (we only used one slab in video))
- 1 cup(s) Ketchup
- 1 cup(s) Brown Sugar
- .25 cup(s) Bourbon Whiskey
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 2 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Cayenne Pepper
- 1 tsp Black Pepper
Directions
- Add Bourbon and brown sugar to a blender. Blend on high until combined. Add ketchup, Worcestershire, salt, cayenne and black pepper. Blend again until entire sauce in combined. Divide in half and reserve half the sauce.
- Fill the bottom of a slow cooker with Bourbon. Brush the ribs with sauce and arrange evenly in the slow cooker. It is okay to stack ribs to get them to fit. Cook on high for 4 hours.
- After 4 hours, take the ribs out of the slow cooker and place on a baking sheet. Brush with more sauce and broil on high for 10 minutes until the sauce is glazed.
- While broiling the ribs, take the reserved half of sauce and pour it in a saucepan. Bring the mixture to a boil, then simmer for 10 minutes to cook alcohol off of sauce.
- After broiling, remove the ribs and serve with the sauce for dipping. Enjoy!
