Bacon makes everything better, including asparagus! This recipe is an easy way to make a party classic – bacon wrapped asparagus – in your oven. You can also make this recipe on the grill, just make sure to cook the bacon over indirect heat instead directly over the flames. Enjoy!
Lightly coat the asparagus in extra virgin olive oil, and gently season with salt and pepper. Divide the asparagus into 4 even bunches. Wrap a slice of bacon around each bundle to secure it. We recommend wrapping on a diagonal with the bacon slightly overlapping itself on each wrap for best results.
Place the bundles on a oven rack over a foil lined baking sheet and put into an oven preheated to 400ºF. Cook for about 10 minutes, until the bacon is crispy, and the asparagus is tender. Remove and serve. Enjoy!

You’ll usually see Tempranillo labeled as “Rioja”, because that’s the best region for growing this grape. It produces wines with dark fruit and earthy flavors at great values.
