We amp up the flavor of the strawberries by adding a bit of balsamic vinegar, and cooking them down a bit. The fresh fruit flavors with the rich, creamy Brie cheese is hard to beat. Treat yourself and enjoy this recipe!
Add the strawberries, sugar, and balsamic vinegar to a medium saucepan. Stir to combine, and then cook over medium heat for about 5 minutes until the strawberries are softened.
Place the brie round on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Leave all of the rind on the cheese, but take any packaging off the cheese. Bake for 5 minutes in an oven preheated to 350ºF. After 5 minutes, add the strawberry mixture on top, and bake for an extra 3 minutes.
