Crispy fried chicken tenders aren’t something you can only enjoy when you’re out at a restaurant, enjoy a batch at home with this easy to follow recipe! They’re even more delicious freshly made and you can use your favorite dipping sauce that you have at home! We make this recipe on the stovetop, so you don’t even need a deep fryer to enjoy these! This is a basic recipe without too much seasoning, but if you like, you can modify this recipe by adding more seasonings to the breading. Try using more cayenne pepper for a spicier breading or Chinese Five Spice blend for an Asian feel. The possibilities are endless!
Place the breadcrumbs in a large bowl. Place the flour in a separate bowl and the eggs in another bowl.
One piece at a time, dredge the chicken in the flour, coating all sides, then in the egg and finally the breadcrumb and spice mixture. Set each piece aside after you’ve coated it with the breadcrumbs.
Cover a large, non-stick skillet with vegetable oil and heat to 375°F. Once the oil is hot, begin cooking the strips a few at a time. Cook for a few minutes on each side until they are golden and crispy. (Note – you can also put these in a deep fryer if you have one!)
While the strips are cooking, combine the salt, black pepper and cayenne pepper. Mix so that all the seasonings are blended together.
Once the strips are cooked, remove them from heat to a towel lined plate. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over all sides of the fried chicken. Let cool and serve with your favorite dipping sauce!

An underlooked grape, Albarino is best known from Spain, where it makes wines that are full bodied, aromatic and refreshing. If you like Sauvignon Blanc or Chardonnay, give this a try!
