Red snapper is a fish that’s popular with game fishers, and a great fish to make to remind yourself of your time on the water. It is a lean, moist fish with a firm texture, and a sweet, and nutty flavor. Its texture makes it possible to grill without wrecking the fish, so this is a prime candidate for a summer seafood grill out. Here’s our simple recipe to make a delicious tasting grilled red snapper!
Lightly coat both sides of the fish with vegetable oil, and season gently with lemon pepper seasoning. Place the fish, skin side down, to a grill heated to medium heat. Cook for 4 – 5 minutes, until the skin is crisp, and pulls cleanly from the grill.
Flip the fish over, and cook for another 2 – 4 minutes, until the fish is cooked through and opaque. Remove from grill and serve with grilled vegetables and fresh greens. Enjoy!
