Spaghetti Bolognese is an all time favorite Italian dish. The combination of spaghetti with a rich, tomato based meat sauce is easy to love. In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium high heat. Once hot, add onions, carrots and celery and cook until soft. Add the ground beef and cook until the ground beef is browned.
Once ground beef is browned, add in the tomato paste and diced tomatoes. Pour in the broth, milk and red wine. Stir the entire mix and bring to a boil.
Once boil, break the pasta in half and add to the pot, making sure the pasta is completely covered. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 15 minutes, or until the pasta is soft and most of the liquid is absorbed.
When the liquid is absorbed, the pasta is ready to eat! Mix the dish together and spoon into a bowl. Top the dish with freshly grated parmesan cheese and freshly chopped parsley. Serve with your favorite Italian wine and bread for mopping up extra sauce. Enjoy!
