It’s another week here at Lake Geneva Country Meats and we are settling into fall.  Well, I can’t even really say “settling in” any more because by the time this week’s meal plan is over, it will already be November!  It’s football season and whether you’er watching the Packers or not, we have plenty of meals in this week’s plan that pair perfectly with a football game.

Meal plan options, Monday

Starting the week with two completely comfort-filled meals!  If these are a bit too heavy for your Monday night, enjoy it on gameday at the end of the week.  My kids love the beef cheddar pockets and they’re fun to make with kids in the kitchen.

Meal plan options, Tuesday

That’s right, it’s Tuesday and we have two different pork tacos for your choosing.  Classic, delicious bbq pork makes a great taco when you add on whatever toppings are your favorite.  Or, if you’d like a smokey flavor, try chipotle pork!

Maybe your’e falling into the mid-week slump or maybe you just love a good slow cooker meal.  Either way, these two warm meals will help you make it through until the weekend.

This week’s Fish Friday features shrimp.  One has a kick and one is a classic easy way to enjoy your shrimp meal.  Jerk shrimp is great if you want to forget that it’s 40 degrees here and pretend you are somewhere tropical.

Burgers are on-sale this week and we have a ton of great recipes.  These are some old classics, but you can’t really go wrong with any type of burger.  A classic mushroom Swiss or a breakfast burger – which one is more your style?

It’s gameday!  Let’s have some wings.  I love a good hot wing, but if that’s not your style, bust out the grill and enjoy whatever else you can of the outdoors.
