Weekly Meal Plan

I can’t believe it’s Sunday again – these weeks are just flying by.  Or maybe they’re just blending together!  Either way, it’s meal plan day and this is a good one!

MONDAY

BBQ Tri-Tip Biscuit Sliders

How delicious do these look!?  I love a good, buttery biscuit.  With this recipe, you can get as creative as you’d like – use what you have in your pantry and refrigerator then let us know how it worked out!

TUESDAY

Mexican Beer Braised Turkey Legs

So this is definitely a different take on taco Tuesday because, well, it’s not a taco at all.  But, it does share some of those great Mexican flavors that we all love to eat…especially on Tuesdays.  If you have kids, I highly suggest giving them a whole turkey leg to nosh on.  I’ve done it and it makes for a pretty hilarious picture.

WEDNESDAY

Raspberry Vinaigrette Pork Salad

This recipe is right up  my alley.  You may have heard, on the latest episode of Dinner plus Drinks, that I have some fond memories of salads with pork.  It was one of the first meals I remember eating with my now in-laws.  You know, the awkward first meal with the boyfriends parents.  I had never had a pork salad so I was nervous!  But, I thoroughly enjoyed a pork and apple salad and was hooked.  Well this salad is topped with delish raspberry vinaigrette, feta cheese and candied walnuts.  Yum yum!

THURSDAY

Instant Pot Sweet & Sticky Chicken Wings

Usually this is a leftover day, but I chose a bonus recipe for a couple of reasons.  First of all, I can’t go one week without a chicken recipe of course!  But, this is an Instant Pot recipe and I know not everyone owns one.  So, if you don’t have an Instant Pot, enjoy some leftovers today!  If you do, give these wings a try and let us know what you think.

FRIDAY

Honey Lemon Fried Walleye

Freshwater fish is my favorite to cook with and it’s a classic at a Wisconsin Fish Fry.  If you’re a fan of traditional fish fry, this recipe will be a fun one for you to try because it mixes things up a bit by adding honey to make things a touch sweeter.

SATURDAY

Chimichurri Pork Tenderloin

Who doesn’t love chimichurri?  Well, I know that Nick and I love it.  And my family loves it.  So, I’m going to go ahead and assume that most everyone can’t get enough of the fresh, bright flavor that chimichurri adds to any dish.  I love having this on pork for a more lean dinner, but you know it’s always good on strip steak too!

SUNDAY

Slow Cooker Pork Noodle Bowl

We are big fans of Pho and Ramen in our house.  And no, I’m not talking about the $.20 ramen you can buy at the store.  I’m talking about the ramen that has a real focus on steeping the broth; where all the flavor comes from.  This noodle bowl brings the same great broth flavor after sitting in the slow cooker all day.  A truly comforting dish.

I am loving this week’s meal plan, what about you?  Anything you’re not too excited about or anything you are exceptionally excited to try!?

Have a great week!

–Bridget
