Reduce by Half Episode 20: Developing a New Bratwurst

At Lake Geneva Country Meats, we’re not ashamed to let you know how our sausage is made. In this episode, we answer one of the the questions we get asked the most – how do you come up with new bratwurst flavors? To come up with a new flavor, we take five steps:

  1. We pick a new bratwurst flavor.
  2. We research that flavor.
  3. We formulate a recipe.
  4. We develop the actual sausage.
  5. We release the sausage to the general public!

In this episode, we share what each step of the process entails and explain how we came up with our newest bratwurst – the Szechwan Bratwurst.
