Big, exciting changes in this week’s meal plan!  Leftovers are no longer on the docket for Thursday; they’ve moved up a day…for a very important food holiday!

Monday – Chicken

Starting off the week with two great chicken recipes.  Both are a light way to kick off the week.  And, the best part is, both of these meals also make for a fantastic lunch.  So, double the recipe and start your week off ahead!

Tuesday – Fajitas

This week’s taco Tuesday features Fajitas!  I was feeling mac and cheese this week and what’s better than mac and cheese?!  Well, a mac and cheese mixed with Mexican flavors, of course!  If you’re looking for a more traditional take on fajitas, check out our recipe for flank steak fajita meat.

Wednesday – leftovers!

We’ve made a lot of great food already this week, and you probably have some of it leftover. Take a night off from cooking and enjoy your leftovers, or enjoy a meal from one of our great local restaurants.

Thursday – Chili

You know we love a good food holiday and today is the perfect time of year to celebrate National Chili Day!  We have mountains of snow in Wisconsin so there is nothing better than warming up inside with a bowl full of chili.  Cook your favorite chili recipe or try something new with one of the recipes below.

Friday – Cod

Cod is a great fish option for any night of the week, but especially perfect for Lent.  If you aren’t eating meat and have kids in the house, this week’s fish options are great.  What kid wouldn’t love homemade fish sticks!? 

Saturday – Flank Steak

Who can really choose between teriyaki and chimichurri.  I know I can’t!  Seriously, so we’ll just make both!
