Weekly Meal Plan | June 28 – July 4, 2021

Weekly Meal Plan

It’s a weird week – right between Father’s Day and 4th of July and it really just feels like life has been a blur!  When that’s the case, I rely on someone else to do that meal planning for me.  So, here we go!

6 recipes for a weekly meal plan

Monday – Chicken Breast

I love to make chicken early in the week because it is great for leftovers!  I especially love to throw a ton on the grill and have beautifully charred chicken to enjoy all week.  Sometimes dinner is the easy option and I’m looking for lunches, so I’m including a great salad and two great ways to make chicken for your week ahead!

Tuesday – Chorizo

The perfect meat for tacos; this week we’re eating chorizo.  Make a smile taco or cook all of the delicious flavors together in a skillet.  Both of these taco Tuesday recipes are a winner!

Wednesday – pork

It’s the middle of the week, so we love sheet pan meals or meals that can be made in one pot.  These recipes are the perfect family options – less dishes, affordable meat option and even a bit healthy!

Thursday – Leftovers

We’ve made a lot of great food already this week, and you probably have some of it leftover. Take a night off from cooking and enjoy your leftovers, or enjoy a meal from one of our great local restaurants.

This seems like a good time to ask – would you like to receive an email every time we publish a new meal plan? If you would, just fill out the form below!

Friday – shrimp

I went with shrimp this weekend because, well, it’s summer!  Shrimp is easy and quick to make and it’s fresh and summery.  When we’re cooking in the summer, we always try to include a grilled recipe and another option for indoor cooking as well.

Saturday – brisket

Nick loves making brisket, so we thought this weekend called for a Saturday brisket.  If you have a smoker, you have to try this Texas smoked brisket recipe.  But, we know not everybody has a smoker, so we’ve got you covered with a brisket made in the oven.

Sunday – brats

It’s 4th of July!  Maybe you’re out on the boat, maybe you’re grilling with friends or maybe you’re at work.  Either way, we think you deserve a tasty and easy meal.  We want to make sure you know the best way to cook them, so here ya go!

If you’re looking for more inspiration and other recipe options, you can find previous weeks’ meal plans below.  Cheers to a tasty week of delicious food!
