It’s slow cooker week and I am excited! It’s finally settling into cooler temps for good, which I am one of the few who is happy about that. I love an easy dinner and the set-it-and-forget-it style is just the way to go. So, yes, there are a handful of slow cooker recipes in this week’s meal plan, plus plenty of others!
MONDAY
At the store, we’re having a stew meat sale so the most fitting way to start the week is with STEW! Of course, I had to include the most classic (and still delicious) stew recipes. But, if you’re feeling more spicy, bust out the slow cooker add in a few moroccan spices, chickpeas and end up with an amped up version of beef stew.

For Taco Tuesday, we wanted to be sure to find a stew recipe that fit the bill and a slow cooker Mexican beef stew is just the thing! But, of course, a classic taco is part of the plan too.

Fridays are for fish and this week we’re talking about cod. Two different, but still similar ways to enjoy this fish the best way it’s meant to be – fried. Option 1 is great to try with kids in the house and option 2 is the best way to enjoy an at-hoe fish fry.
