We first made this sausage to celebrate the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, and it’s proven so popular that we continue to make this sausage on a rotational basis.
This all pork sausage is seasoned with an in-house special blend of garlic, parsley, lemon, vinegar, red pepper and more. The resulting sausage combines sweet and zesty flavors with just a touch of garlicky spice. It has a unique fresh and bright flavor profile that many of our customers have come to love.
We enjoy serving this sausage with fresh pico de gallo on top of the sausage. We think the fresh tomato and onion flavors are the perfect complement to this sausage. You can also easily make a Brazilian style protein bowl with this sausage. Here’s how: start your bowl with a base of white rice. On top of that white rice, fill one half of the bowl with black beans, then fill one quarter with slices of Linguica, and add fresh salsa and chopped cilantro to the other quarter.
