Our Steak & Blue Cheese bratwurst is based on a blend of pork and beef that we season with a steak seasoning that has more pepper and garlic than our standard bratwurst seasoning. We then stuff the sausage with bits of blue cheese, as well as sliced mushrooms and onions. The bratwurst has a rich steak like flavor and the blue cheese is a delicious, ooey-gooey treat when you bite into the sausage.
If you want to make an even more impressive creation out of this sausage, try topping it with button mushrooms cooked in red wine, caramelized onions, and shredded Sartori Merlot Bellavitano cheese. These rich flavors play perfectly with the sausage and create a “gourmet” meal with just sausage and a few easy to find ingredients!
